Three to five years’ litigation paralegal experience, a bachelor’s degree and certificate preferred, and excellent writing, communication, and organizational abilities are required to manage filings, discovery, and trial logistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and paralegal certificate preferred with 3–5 years’ litigation paralegal experience.
• Proficiency with File & Serve, CM/ECF, and legal research platforms (LexisNexis, Westlaw).
• Excellent writing and interpersonal communications skills.
• Strong project management skills with attention to detail and deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Draft and prepare legal documents, including complaints, motions, discovery, and other pleadings.
• File and serve documents in state and federal courts, including CM/ECF and File & Serve.
• Conduct thorough research to support litigation efforts.
• Handle electronic discovery, including document reviews and productions in Relativity.
• Support attorneys during depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trial.
• Coordinate case management repositories and organize case files and Court filings.
• Organize discovery, pleadings, and other documents for attorney review.
• Prepare notebooks for hearings, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Communicate with clients and counsel to provide case updates and maintain relationships.
• Proofread and cite-check documents; track deadlines.
