Placements24 is partnering with a leading client to hire an experienced Legal Advisor (litigation) to join a remote legal team supporting operations based in Randburg. You will lead all phases of the dispute resolution process, craft legal strategies, and supervise external counsel to secure favorable outcomes in complex matters within South Africa.
The role requires Admitted Attorney status with at least six years in litigation, strong knowledge of SA civil procedure, and excellent negotiation
Qualificações
- Admitted attorney with at least 6 years of litigation experience.
- Deep knowledge of South African civil procedure and evidence law.
- Proven track record in complex commercial litigation.
- Excellent analytical and negotiation abilities.
- Must hold Fidelity Fund Certificate.
Responsabilidades
- Manage all aspects of the company's litigation portfolio.
- Develop and implement legal strategies.
- Instruct and manage external legal counsel.
- Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice.
- Represent the company in mediations, arbitrations, and other ADR.
- Ensure compliance with court rules and deadlines.
