Job summary

SaidGig is seeking a litigation-experienced attorney to train and evaluate AI systems through high-quality legal analysis, research, and feedback. This remote contract role centers on improving AI handling of document review, discovery management, case strategy, and motion practice.

The ideal candidate holds a JD with bar admission in a U.S. jurisdiction, 5+ years in litigation, and excellent research, writing, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• At least 5 years of litigation experience, including management of document-intensive matters through discovery and dispositive motions.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, issue-spotting, and document-analysis skills.
• Demonstrated experience developing case strategy and handling motion practice.
• Experience managing discovery and complex legal document review projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with close attention to detail.
• Comfort working with technology in a remote, digital-first environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement legal rubrics for AI-supported document review and analysis.
• Perform in-depth legal research and draft complex memoranda to support AI training and evaluation.
• Review high volumes of litigation documents to identify issues, trends, and data points relevant to AI improvement.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate legal insights into actionable AI development requirements.
• Assess the quality and accuracy of AI outputs and provide feedback to strengthen discovery management and motion practice capabilities.
• Develop case strategy and motion practice templates for legal AI use cases.
• Continuously refine rubric criteria to reflect evolving legal standards and best practices.
