Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Litigation Attorney for a fully remote role based in the United States. The position offers competitive pay of $160,000–$175,000 per year with potential bonuses and benefits.

The ideal candidate will have a JD, active bar membership in AZ (CO a plus), and 5+ years of defense litigation experience. Construction or business matters and insurance client experience are preferred. Strong independence and teamwork are required.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in Arizona; Colorado is a plus.
• 5+ years of litigation experience (defense).
• Experience in construction law or business-related matters is preferred but not required.
• Experience working with insurance clients is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of professionalism and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct extensive legal research to support ongoing cases.
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, contracts, and wills.
• Assist partners and senior attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions.
• Represent clients in court, presenting evidence and arguments on their behalf.
• Communicate with clients to keep them informed about their legal matters.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
• Comply with all legal standards and regulations.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients and insurance carriers.
