Job summary

Versar Global Solutions seeks a Liquid Fuels Mechanic to support USACE RMMR task orders across the continental U.S. The role covers fuel system maintenance, troubleshooting, and related construction work, with emphasis on safety and compliance.

Travel up to 50% is expected; remote work is available with on-site duties in Everett, WA or Bremerton, WA as needed. Two to five years experience in liquid fuels maintenance and a High School Diploma are required; MS Office proficiency is needed and OSHA

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of liquid fuels maintenance or construction experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency with MS Office; ability to upload reports to cloud systems.
• Must have an active driver's license and be able to obtain security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance inspections at U.S. military locations.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain hydrant systems and fuel equipment.
• Maintain fuel storage tanks and inspection reports.
• Assist in developing scopes of work for DoD fuel facilities.
• Diagnose problems with test equipment and industry standards.
• Review repair specifications and procure materials for repairs.
• Maintain maintenance records in a centralized system.
• Coordinate with staff and management to address fuel system issues.
• Stay updated on military standards and safety requirements.
• Adhere to Health & Safety requirements and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
