Job summary

Exein is seeking a Linux Security Engineer to develop an eBPF-based security agent that monitors Linux at a deep internal level. Strong knowledge of Linux internals, kernel structures, system calls, containers, and security implications is required, with solid Rust experience and familiarity with eBPF or C.

This remote role offers the opportunity to influence security across cloud-native platforms and embedded systems, with collaboration across open-source communities and cutting-edge detection

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of Linux internals (tasks, credentials, process hierarchies, syscalls, namespaces).
• Proficient in Rust for system programming or security-focused apps.
• Practical knowledge of system-level security concepts.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and understanding their internals.
• Experience with Git and collaborative workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize an advanced eBPF-based security monitoring agent.
• Analyze Linux kernel structures and system calls to detect and mitigate security threats.
• Contribute to architecture discussions for scalable, high-performance security solutions.
• Collaborate with open-source communities, contributing improvements and innovations.
• Participate in research to innovate detection methodologies and integrate them into product design.
