SaidGig seeks a life sciences task designer to help train future AI systems by creating expert-level evaluation tasks from authentic research artifacts. You will craft problems that require multi-step reasoning and rigorous rubrics, testing AI agents on real data and protocols.

Prior AI experience is not required; strong scientific foundation matters most. Remote contract engagement with payment tied to task quality and project specs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in biology, biomedical sciences, biochemistry, or a closely related field.
• At least 2 years of hands-on research or laboratory experience involving primary data analysis and scientific protocols.
• Demonstrated ability to work in protocol-driven, multi-source scientific workflows.
• Strong scientific reasoning, source synthesis, methodological evaluation, and data interpretation skills.
• Strong written English skills and experience drafting or reviewing scientific documentation.
• Comfort handling CSVs, spreadsheets, PDFs, and technical documents.
• Close attention to detail and a commitment to rubric fidelity and objective task design.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex life sciences evaluation tasks, including experimental design critiques, protocol analyses, and primary data interpretation.
• Source and synthesize raw experimental data, laboratory protocols, technical literature, and supplementary materials.
• Define and document the appropriate methodological approach and biological interpretation for each task.
• Create comprehensive, multi-item evaluation rubrics focused on methodological rigor, data interpretation, and source fidelity.
• Ensure assignments reflect the nuance, ambiguity, and depth of real-world scientific work rather than simplified or hypothetical scenarios.
• Collaborate asynchronously with project coordinators to refine deliverables.
