Job summary

Axiom is seeking experienced attorneys to support legal teams in the pharma and health systems space, focusing on a broad range of commercial and research-related agreements with a global scope. Roles include both full-time and part-time opportunities and remote work options.

The position emphasizes MSA/SOW/CTA drafting, CRO engagements, and R&D transactions, with collaboration across BD&L and business teams to structure and negotiate research collaborations and licensing agreements.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree and active bar membership in good standing.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or health system sectors (a blend is preferred).
• Demonstrated experience in global transactional work, CROs, or R&D-focused legal matters.
• Familiarity with intellectual property transactions in the life sciences space.
• Experience supporting licensing, collaboration, and research agreements.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate MSAs, SOWs, CTAs, NDAs/CDAs, and consulting agreements.
• Provide legal support for global transactions and cross-border collaborations.
• Advise on engagements with Clinical Research Organizations (CROs).
• Handle R&D-related work: pre-clinical and sponsored research, MTAs, and industry–academic collaborations.
• Support licensing and collaboration agreements within the life sciences space.
• Partner with BD&L teams on strategic initiatives and structuring research collaborations.
