Qualifications

• Ph.D., postdoctoral experience, or equivalent advanced research experience in Life Sciences with strong computational programming skills.
• Strong programming in Python and experience with scientific libraries and command-line tools.
• Experience in Linux/terminal environments and reproducible scientific workflows.
• Ability to validate calculations, code, and outputs independently.
• Experience with fast, robust, self-contained computational tasks in controlled environments.

Responsibilities

• Design authentic, multi-step Life Science tasks based on real research workflows.
• Translate workflows into self-contained computational environments.
• Create tasks requiring multi-step analyses across genomics, bioinformatics, systems biology, and related fields.
• Prepare input files and datasets, define constraints, and expected outputs.
• Implement solutions using Python, command-line tools, and domain-specific software.
• Develop reproducible expert solutions and objective grading criteria.
