Job description

Remote Licensed Therapist - Part Time Contractor - TX, KS, OK

We are seeking a compassionate Licensed Therapist to join our team on a part-time, remote basis within the U.S. as part of the Optum Behavioral Care initiative. This role involves managing a caseload of at least 10 participants, delivering evidence-based care over an 8-week program, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality behavioral health services.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing a caseload of a minimum of 10 participants
  • Delivering remote care through an 8-week evidence-based program
  • Monitoring participant progress and documenting session notes
  • Providing follow-up communications and care coordination
  • Assisting participants with resource access and obtaining necessary consents
  • Responding to high-risk situations following protocols
  • Participating in team meetings and training sessions

Qualifications include:

  • Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) for California
  • Ability to work at least 10 hours per week within 9 am-8 pm local time, with a consistent schedule
  • Experience with evidence-based therapies such as CBT or DBT is preferred

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Pay rate of $40-$60 per session hour, depending on state
  • 1099 contract employment
  • Flexible remote work from anywhere within the U.S.
