Job summary

Health First Psychotherapy Services in Stamford, CT, is seeking a full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our remote team. This role welcomes LCSWs, LPCs, and LMFTs to provide culturally competent care via telehealth, with hours 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, from home.

You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver individual, family, and group therapy, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. Competitive salary 70k–100k and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, MFT, Counseling, or Psychology is required.
Valid licensure as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Connecticut is essential.
Experience with culturally responsive treatment approaches and crisis management.

Responsibilities

Conduct culturally sensitive mental health assessments to understand client needs.
Develop tailored, evidence-based treatment plans reflecting cultural contexts.
Provide individual, family, and group therapy to diverse populations.
Collaborate with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members for coordinated care.
Offer crisis intervention to ensure client safety during emergencies.
Educate clients and families about diagnoses, options, and community resources.
Maintain confidential patient records in an EHR system per guidelines.
Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss progress.
Stay updated on research and cultural considerations in mental health.
