Job summary

Johnson Behavioral Health Center invites a Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join as a full-time remote clinician. You will deliver individual, group, and family therapy, develop evidence-based treatment plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support recovery.

Role emphasizes teletherapy competency, strong documentation in EHR, and ongoing professional development to maintain licensure and deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or closely related field.
• Active licensure as a mental health counselor in Washington state.
• Minimum of two years’ experience delivering therapeutic services.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and telehealth technologies.
• Experience with teletherapy and crisis intervention preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions addressing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.
• Perform diagnostic assessments and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and educators to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate, confidential EHR documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Engage in supervision and continued education for licensure renewal.
• Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed.
