Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and formulate individualized treatment plans that incorporate pre-crisis and crisis responses, medication management strategies, as well as behavioral and positive behavior support plans.
• Adhere to regulatory standards by completing necessary documentation in a timely fashion, ensuring compliance with both internal and external requirements.
• Implement evidence-based screening tools as directed by the clinical team, applying quantitative and qualitative methods to enhance patient evaluations.
• Collaborate seamlessly with interdisciplinary teams to devise and execute positive behavioral strategies that empower clients towards recovery.
• Actively engage in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring that all practices meet established benchmarks for quality.
• Network and liaise with state agencies, community partners, and relevant service systems to facilitate patient access to diverse resources.
• Maintain open channels of communication with stakeholders to meet contract standards and reinforce our mission within the community.
• Establish and nurture strategic alliances with local, state, and federal entities to expand program reach and secure potential funding opportunities.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, such as attending conferences and leading workshops to bolster your expertise and advocacy within our field.
• Champion the agency’s mission and values in all your interactions and activities, actively promoting our philosophical principles of compassion and integrity.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Clinic Director to contribute to the overall efficient functioning of the clinic.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in a relevant mental health field is required.
• You must hold an Independent LMHC License, valid within the state of Florida or be willing to obtain licensing in Florida if currently licensed in another state; Compassion Mind will cover associated costs.

• Experience in outpatient mental health settings, particularly with evidence-based practices in counseling or therapy.
