Remote Licensed Master Social Worker (NY)

PM Pediatric Care is seeking a Licensed Master Social Worker to join our Behavioral Health Program. This role provides comprehensive behavioral health services for common primary care conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADD, and conduct disorders within an extended primary care collaborative model.

Positions available: Part Time (20-24 hours/week) & Full Time

Compensation: For Full Time, the pay range is $60k-70k plus medical benefits and PTO. Compensation depends on licensure and experience, prorated for part-time roles.

Schedule options include: 5 days, 1-9 pm M-F or 9 am-3 pm Sat; or 4 ten-hour days, 2 days 11 am-9 pm, 2 days 8 am-6 pm.

Responsibilities

• Perform psychosocial assessments following evidence-based practices
• Provide counseling and therapy using evidence-based modalities
• Display competency as an individual, family, and group therapist
• Maintain professional development as required by licensing boards
• Complete documentation including biopsychosocial assessments and treatment plans in a timely manner
• Collaborate with patients, families, and team members to overcome treatment obstacles
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Demonstrate cultural competency and a commitment to diversity
• Respond promptly to urgent or emergent needs
• Maintain a caseload of 30-35 patients weekly, with a minimum of 5 patients daily

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field
• Relevant therapist license in NY (LMSW)
• Experience with pediatric and adolescent patients
• Teletherapy experience with children and adolescents preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Ability to work effectively with diverse cultural backgrounds
• Understanding of psychosocial aspects of health and illness
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent short-term counseling skills
• Experience with discharge planning
