About Rula
Rula is a comprehensive behavioral health solution that makes it easy for individuals, couples, and families to find the right provider covered by their health insurance. We are hiring licensed therapists to join our diverse network of providers. At Rula, we handle the administrative work (new client marketing, verifying insurance, credentialing, billing, support, EHR, audits, and compliance) so that you can focus on delivering great care for clients.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be licensed as a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
- Must be licensed in California
- Must be able to provide telehealth
Compensation Details
- Providers typically reach 90% of desired caseload within 6 weeks of going live
- LMFT, LCSW, and LPCC: $90 per session reimbursement for initial or 90837 appointments (53-minute session)
- Direct deposit every two weeks with no need to worry about unpaid claims
- Rula pays you even when the patient no-shows, cancels late, or the claim is denied
The amount of time you allocate to Rula clients is entirely up to you!

- Clinical leadership and support: Our executive team includes licensed providers involved in business decisions, ensuring the provider perspective. Our Care Coordination team manages higher-level care requests, and our Quality Team offers clinical training and peer reviews.
- Fully compliant and ethical: We adhere to HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2, with a Medical Records team managing releases, audits, and record requests. Our practices align with your professional ethics and regulatory standards.
- Outcome measures: We monitor client outcomes and therapeutic alliance in real-time to help you adjust treatment as needed.
- Provider community: Access a thriving online community for resource sharing, weekly peer consultations, and drop-in sessions for client or career questions.
- Free continuing education units: Contracted providers are eligible for CEU benefits after one appointment, with unlimited free courses and credits.
