Job summary

aptihealth is seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist - Intake Specialist in a remote capacity to assess and guide patients at the intake stage. You will perform diagnostic interviews, formulate initial diagnoses, and provide treatment recommendations while coordinating with a Behavioral Health Specialist.

You will use the aptihealth platform to support patient outcomes and align with a mission-driven team delivering accessible mental health care nationwide.

Qualifications

• Licensed psychologist with NYS credentials.
• 3+ years' diagnostic assessment experience.
• 3+ years' experience providing individual therapy.
• Experience with diverse behavioral health populations and determining appropriate treatment level of care.
• Experience with children and adolescents (age 5+).
• Experience assessing crisis situations and suicide/self-harm risk.
• Strong interpersonal and patient-centered approach.
• Ability to work both independently and with a virtual clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic interviews and formulate initial diagnoses and treatment recommendations.
• Pair patients with a Licensed Behavioral Health Specialist best suited to meet needs.
• Leverage the aptihealth platform to support care outcomes.
