Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Examiner - Liability with multi-state jurisdiction experience to analyze complex liability claims for benefits due. You will work with high-exposure claims involving litigation, negotiate settlements, and coordinate with clients and carriers from a flexible, hybrid work setup.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of claims management experience, licensing as applicable, and strong analytical and communication skills to support Sedgwick’s trusted clients.

Qualifications

• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent
• Licensing NY preferred; reciprocal license required
• Nationwide jurisdiction knowledge preferred

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex liability claims to determine benefits due
• Negotiate settlements within designated authority
• Communicate claim activity with claimants and clients
• Report claims to excess carriers and respond to directions promptly
