Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Examiner - Liability to analyze complex liability claims across multiple jurisdictions, including auto, BI, PD, GL, with licensing reciprocity. This full-time role offers a hybrid work model, growth opportunities, and access to a global network.

Responsibilities include adjudicating claims, negotiating settlements, communicating with claimants and clients, and ensuring timely service. Requires 5 years of claims management experience and NY licensure with reciprocity.

Qualifications

• Education and licensing requirements including High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred; professional certification as applicable.
• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent.
• Licensing: NY preferred; reciprocal license required.
• Nationwide jurisdiction knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and processing claims through action plans to resolution by investigating and gathering information to determine exposure.
• Negotiating settlement of claims within designated authority.
• Communicating claim activity and processing with the claimant and the client.
• Reporting claims to the excess carrier and responding to requests of directions professionally and timely.
