Job summary

ClaimsPro LP - International Programs Group is hiring a full-time Liability Examiner to work remotely from anywhere in Canada. You will examine complex liability claims, coordinate with field adjusters, and settle claims with claimants or their representatives.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of claims adjusting experience, relevant post-secondary education, CIP credentials, and an independent adjusting license. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years’ experience delivering relevant claims adjusting and/or examining work
• Exposure to the Lloyd’s market would be an asset
• Your education, with relevant post-secondary education being an asset
• Your completed CIP courses, or working towards CIP designation
• Your ability to hold an independent adjusting license
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Your experience positively contributing to a high-performing team
• Examples of your strong aptitude and ability to work with technology
• Your attention to detail and your ability to communicate professionally

Responsibilities

• Act as an examiner for Lloyds accounts providing prompt, fair, quality claims service to clients
• Examine complex liability claims
• Direct Field Adjusters on assignment investigations
• Settle claims directly with claimants or their representatives
• Administer claims payments/settlements through trust accounts
• Liaise with all stakeholders to ensure client’s needs are met
