Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Liability Claims Examiner to adjudicate complex claims nationwide with emphasis on CA, FL & NY. You will analyze claims, determine benefits, negotiate settlements within authority, and keep clients and claimants informed throughout the process.

Qualifications

• 3 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Education credentials relevant to claims examination and adjudication.
• Licensing as required for jurisdiction and client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and processing claims through action plans to reach timely resolution.
• Negotiating settlement of claims within designated authority.
• Communicating claim activity to claimants and clients.
• Reporting claims to the excess carrier and responding to directions.
