Qualifications

• Five or more years of healthcare water management experience.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CIH, PE) preferred.
• Experience with ASHRAE 188 and CDC guidance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update Water Management Programs in accordance with ASHRAE 188
• Perform onsite water system risk assessments
• Develop flow diagrams and water system schematics
• Identify hazardous conditions and control measures
• Review water quality data and recommend corrective actions
• Coordinate with facility engineering, infection prevention, sterile processing, and laboratory personnel
• Evaluate compliance with CDC, CMS, VA, Joint Commission, and ANSI/AAMI guidance
• Support Legionella prevention strategies
• Develop sampling plans for potable, sterile processing, dental unit waterlines, and utility water systems
• Assist with outbreak investigations and corrective actions
• Conduct customer training and presentations
• Prepare professional technical reports
