Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking Lawyers/Legal Writers for a remote contractor role to evaluate AI-generated legal and technical content. You will review, draft, and critique material to ensure accuracy, structure, and audience-appropriate tone without giving legal advice.

Primary duties include evaluating AI responses, identifying inconsistencies, and documenting findings with clear rationales. Remote collaboration with project managers is essential to maintain high evaluation standards.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native English writing proficiency required.
• Qualifying law degree from the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, or NZ.
• Experience drafting briefs, motions, memoranda, opinions, or regulatory submissions.
• Experience reviewing or supervising legal writing.
• Strong legal writing, drafting, document-review and critical-analysis skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and written communication.
• Ability to evaluate content for different audiences and purposes.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and compare AI-generated legal and technical prompts.
• Assess clarity, accuracy, tone, precision and instruction adherence.
• Provide analytical quality assessments with written rationales.
• Identify unsupported claims, overstatements, ambiguities, and inconsistencies.
• Review content for factual and logical accuracy.
• Document findings using digital review and annotation platforms.
• Collaborate remotely with project managers to maintain standards.
