Job summary

Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP is seeking a Research Solutions Analyst to join a dynamic team of lawyers, paralegals, and business professionals. The role delivers high-quality legal and business research, competitive intelligence, and technology-enabled knowledge solutions.

You will partner with attorneys to design automated monitoring, current awareness programs, and AI-enabled research workflows, helping to translate needs into practical research strategies.

Qualifications

• MLS from an accredited school; JD preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in legal research, analysis, and information resources.
• Strong analytical, communication, and consultative skills.
• Ability to translate attorney and client needs into practical research and intelligence solutions.
• Familiarity with AI-powered research tools, legal research platforms, Microsoft 365, and knowledge management technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced legal, business, regulatory, litigation, and competitive intelligence research.
• Design and deliver customized current awareness and self-service programs for attorneys, clients, industries, practice groups, and strategic initiatives.
• Develop automated monitoring, altering, and tracking solutions for legal developments, regulatory changes, litigation activity, client news, market trends, and competitor intelligence.
• Partner with attorneys and business professionals to integrate research materials into existing workflows and to recommend strategies to improve those workflows as needed.
• Evaluate, test, and help implement new research, knowledge management, and AI technologies.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on research strategy, intelligence gathering, and emerging legal technologies.
• Collaborate with other Innovation, Marketing and Business Development, IT, and other departments on strategic initiatives that enhance the firm’s research and intelligence capabilities
