Job summary

University of Colorado Colorado Springs is seeking lecturers to join the College of Engineering & Applied Science Online Graduate Programs pool. These appointments are part-time and based on course needs, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality online instruction and developing engaging course materials.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s degree in engineering or a related field; a terminal degree is preferred. Prior online teaching experience and industry engagement are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering, aerospace engineering, or related field is required.
• A terminal degree in engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• At least four months teaching experience and/or online teaching experience is preferred.
• Relevant industry experience that includes current engagement in professional activities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver online graduate courses for EAS Online Graduate Programs.
• Develop and update course materials and assessments.
• Coordinate with program staff and administrators for online course scheduling.
• Evaluate student work and provide timely feedback.
