Noodle is seeking a Learning Architect to translate program goals into finished online courses. You will collaborate directly with faculty at leading institutions to shape expertise into structured modules, activities, assessments, and media.

You’ll own the course build from storyboard to launch, ensuring alignment with the EPIIIC framework and Quality Matters standards. This 1099 contract role is remote within the United States, with 20–30 hours per week and a typical load of 2–3 courses in

Formación

• 6+ years of instructional or learning design experience in higher education online programs.
• A portfolio of online courses designed end to end, ideally for graduate or professional programs.
• Experience working directly with faculty, including senior faculty, guiding design decisions.
• Fluency in backward design, outcomes alignment, and assessment design.
• Knowledge of Quality Matters, OSCQR, or similar quality frameworks.
• Hands-on accessibility skills: alt text, captions, headings, contrast.
• Strong LMS experience, Canvas preferred.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• Ability to manage several courses and deadlines with minimal supervision.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with Learning Architect to translate program goals into detailed course designs.
• Lead sessions with faculty to define learning outcomes and develop activities and assessments.
• Coach faculty new to online teaching with constructive feedback on drafts.
• Write and edit course content, instructions, rubrics, and prompts in a student-facing voice.
• Design interactive and scenario-based learning, including AI-enabled activities where appropriate.
• Storyboard video and multimedia; collaborate with media producers to realize concepts.
• Build courses in the LMS or provide clean specs to course builders.
• Ensure accessibility to WCAG 2.2 AA and align with Quality Matters standards.
• Score courses using the EPIIIC scorecard and improve based on reviews.
