Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Lead Solution Architect to design and oversee end-to-end technical architectures with a core focus on P&C insurance operations and Guidewire solutions.

You will drive enterprise-wide technical strategies, guide cloud adoption and modernization, and lead integration across our platform ecosystem. The role requires deep Guidewire expertise, strong leadership, and a track record of delivering scalable, secure architectures.

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years in IT, with 6-10+ years specializing in Guidewire configuration, integration, and enterprise architecture.
• Deep expertise in P&C insurance operations (Policy, Claims, Billing) and insurance business.
• Proficiency in Gosu, Java, REST/SOAP APIs, Spring Boot; cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee end-to-end architectures for complex requirements.
• Architect and customize systems for scalability, reliability, and security.
• Lead enterprise-wide architectural decisions and define tech strategies and standards.
• Design integration across platforms to deliver scalable solutions.
• Develop microservices and APIs integrating Guidewire with external systems.
• Leverage Generative AI to enhance underwriting, claims, and service processes.
• Define API, microservices, and integration strategies and governance.
• Provide technical leadership to development teams and ensure high-quality delivery.
• Mentor engineering teams on architecture and best practices.
• Promote innovative tech adoption while ensuring compliance and governance.
• Evaluate Guidewire capabilities for strategic fit and deployment options.
