Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods seeks a Lead Software Engineer for Merchandising Technology to drive design, implementation, and ongoing support of Inventory 360. You will collaborate closely with product management, the i360 activation squad, and the architecture team to transform inventory planning and purchasing processes.

You will mentor other engineers, provide technical guidance, and act as a primary technical contact for stakeholders while shaping roadmaps in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
• 6-10 years of experience in software engineering.
• 7-12 months experience supervising junior colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Own development of complex software within the product team.
• Monitor and correct the most complex defects to maintain quality.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions.
• Recommend advanced technical approaches to meet user and business needs.
• Own the software roadmap and align it with business priorities.
• Mentor engineers and serve as technical point of contact.
