BairesDev is hiring a Lead Security Engineer to provide strategic technical leadership and design robust security across our systems. You will guide engineering teams and collaborate with stakeholders to implement proactive defenses and ensure resilience against threats.

The role focuses on threat modeling, vulnerability management, secure SDLC, IAM, encryption, and cloud/container security, with 100% remote work and a competitive USD-based compensation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Security Engineering or a related technical role.
• Strong leadership, architecture, and mentoring stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with threat modeling, vulnerability management, and secure SDLC.
• Solid understanding of IAM, encryption, platform security, and cloud/container security.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Establish security architectures and frameworks to protect enterprise platforms and cloud environments.
• Provide mentorship to technical teams and align with stakeholders on security strategies and compliance.
• Lead threat modeling, vulnerability management, and secure SDLC practices to identify and mitigate risks early.
• Define and implement robust access controls, encryption standards, and platform-level security measures.
• Drive the continuous improvement of cloud and container security configurations across development and production environments.
