Job summary

Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated seeks a security data engineer to lead the design and delivery of data-driven security solutions. You will build scalable pipelines, enrich findings with context, and drive measurable risk reduction with stakeholders.

You will develop governed data products on the Enterprise Data Platform using Snowflake, SQL, and Python, mentor staff, and establish KPIs, KRIs, and data-quality practices across initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of experience in security engineering, information systems, data engineering, security analytics, or related discipline.
• Experience leading technical projects or small teams, mentoring others, and driving delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of complex security data engineering initiatives and small cross-functional project teams.
• Ingest and integrate data from security, governance, cloud, application, endpoint, vulnerability, identity, and risk platforms.
• Deduplicate, correlate, and enrich findings to produce actionable intelligence.
• Develop governed security data products through Enterprise Data Platform using Snowflake and data engineering patterns.
• Develop Snowflake data models, SQL transformations, and compute patterns with data quality and cost controls.
• Establish KPI/KRI definitions, thresholds, targets, and data-quality practices.
