Job summary

Xometry Europe GmbH seeks a technical leader to guide engineering and sourcing in cost estimation and quoting for complex parts. You will review CAD models, advise on manufacturing processes and mentor junior engineers while coordinating with customers and partners.

The role emphasizes leadership, manufacturing knowledge, and clear technical judgment to ensure accurate quotations and feasible solutions across markets.

Qualifications

Education in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
Proven experience leading engineers in sourcing, cost estimation and quoting.
Strong knowledge of machining and fabrication processes.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership to engineering and sourcing teams for cost assessments and quotations.
Act as the primary technical expert for complex parts and critical commercial opportunities.
Review CAD models and drawings to assess feasibility and production requirements.
Guide process/material/ post-processing method selections.
Review and validate quotation content and cost calculations.
