Huntress is a remote-first cybersecurity company seeking a senior macOS security researcher to lead product research, prototype telemetry, and analyze macOS threats. You will reverse engineer malware, work with XProtect and Gatekeeper, and help expand prevention and detection coverage.

The role emphasizes mentorship, documentation, and collaboration with Product and Engineering, with a strong focus on macOS internals and security threats.

Formación

• Deep expertise in macOS system internals, including security model, code signing, notarization, TCC, SIP, persistence, Mach-O formats.
• Hands-on experience with Apple's Endpoint Security API and system extension development.
• Experience red teaming and bypassing EDR on macOS; reverse engineering macOS malware and security frameworks.

Responsabilidades

• Lead product research initiatives for macOS security product strategies and technologies.
• Prototype and test new telemetry from Apple's Endpoint Security API and macOS subsystems.
• Document findings and collaborate with Detection Engineering on detectors.
