Job summary

Yakshna Solutions, Inc is seeking a Lead Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to serve as the primary technical interface for government cybersecurity activities. The role demands hands-on expertise, cross-system oversight, and leadership across RMF processes.

The position is remote, with a Tier 4 Public Trust clearance expectation and a salary range of $130,000–$145,000 annually, plus benefits. The candidate should have a BS degree and 8+ years’ experience in ISSO or related IT fields.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or IT related field.
• 8 years of relevant ISSO or IT work experience.
• Familiar with cybersecurity tools and RMF/ATO workflows.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Contractor’s primary technical interface with Government cybersecurity stakeholders.
• Direct ISSO activities and ensure consistent execution across systems.
• Oversee development and submission of authorization artifacts.
• Chair internal quality reviews of ISSO deliverables before submission.
• Manage risk and issue registers; escalate to Government leadership when needed.
• Participate in governance forums on behalf of the Contractor.
• Coordinate with Program Manager on invoicing, staffing, and reporting.
