Job summary

Lumen Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Lead Engineer for PUB SECWORKS working from home in Arizona. You will oversee site surveys, BOM reviews, engineering, installation, testing, and turn-up, coordinating with site contacts and subcontractors to ensure successful network deployment.

You will guide field engineers, review EDPs, support network upgrades, and ensure quality control and security compliance across projects. A current TS/SCI clearance and willingness to travel 50% are required.

Qualifications

Supporting the P9k program primarily in field engineering for at least 2 years.
Technical knowledge of Telecom ISP design and installation.
Experience using Optical Power Meter and test equipment.
In-depth knowledge of AC/DC Power and Grounding preferred.
Experience using amp and voltmeter.
Analyze and operate Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR).
Working knowledge of standard security operations and procedures.
Must have a current valid driver’s license.
Must have a current TS/SCI security clearance.
Must be willing to travel when needed up to 50%.

Responsibilities

Perform site surveys, cabinet installation, and field tasks.
Review BoM, prepare SOWs, and assist project scheduling.
Provide remote troubleshooting and on-site guidance during test & turn up phases.
Coordinate with installation subcontractors and field staff.
Ensure quality control and adherence to safety protocols.
