Job summary

CDM Smith seeks a Lead Cloud Solutions Architect to serve as the senior client-facing technology leader for the Cloud Solutions team. You will partner with stakeholders to understand objectives, identify opportunities, and develop solution strategies delivering measurable business value.

You will guide engagements from discovery to deployment and operational transition, collaborating with the Cloud Center of Excellence and vendors.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
8 years of related experience required.
Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary technical advisor and trusted partner for business stakeholders.
Lead client engagement activities, including solution discovery and workshops.
Translate business needs into scalable technology solutions.
Experience supporting the full solution lifecycle from concept to deployment.
Develop roadmaps and delivery plans for cloud initiatives.
Lead complex engagements from concept through operational transition.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery.
Provide technical leadership to Solution Architects, Engineers, and delivery teams.
Evaluate options based on business value, cost, risk, and supportability.
Identify risks and mitigation strategies for successful outcomes.
