Job summary

Hightouch is seeking a senior security engineer to own our application security posture end‑to‑end as we scale from 70 to 140+ engineers. You will work hands‑on in the codebase, solving hard problems at the intersection of security and distributed systems.

This is a senior, high‑autonomy role focused on multi‑tenant isolation, sub‑tenant access control, and security architecture. The position offers strong equity compensation and a remote‑first policy with a global impact.

Qualifications

• Senior security hire for a SaaS or data infrastructure company.
• Experience securing multi‑tenant platforms: tenant isolation and authorization models.
• Cloud security across multiple clouds and customer‑owned accounts.
• Design and build of data infrastructure with security in mind from early design or major redesigns.
• Privacy‑adjacent security controls and data residency considerations.

Responsibilities

• Own security posture end‑to‑end for the application.
• Define and refine security frameworks for compute isolation and threat modeling.
• Improve rate limiting, abuse detection, and access control on internet‑facing APIs.
• Support multi‑region and multi‑cloud backend, enabling new regions for data residency.
• Identify high‑leverage security problems by reviewing architecture and delivering fixes.
