Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Lead Appian Developer to drive design, development, and implementation of complex case management and workflow automation in a federal environment. You will lead initiatives, implement AI-driven capabilities, and ensure compliance with stringent security standards.

This remote role requires US citizenship, ability to pass background checks, and eligibility for a Public Trust clearance. You will guide a small-to-mid-size team and collaborate with stakeholders across programs

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
7+ years of Appian development experience.
3+ years in a technical lead role.
Experience delivering mission-critical applications in federal environments.
Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance.
U.S. citizenship required.
Knowledge of FISMA, NIST, Section 508 compliance.

Responsibilities

Lead design, development, and implementation of Appian-based case management and workflow automation.
Drive AI-driven capabilities and integration into business processes.
Ensure compliance with Federal security standards and regulations.
