The Brandon Green Management Group (BGMG) seeks a Lead Analyst to drive quantitative research for a federal workforce project focused on correctional officer attrition and retention incentives. You will develop reproducible R code, refine analysis plans, and translate results into plain-language recommendations for DOJ decision makers.

Qualifications

Ph.D. in statistics, economics, or another quantitative social science from an accredited institution.
Master’s degree in statistics, economics, or another quantitative social science plus three additional years of related professional experience.

Responsibilities

Serve as technical lead for quantitative research and statistical analysis.
Refine and expand government-provided analysis plans.
Descriptive analysis of correctional officer attrition using workforce and payroll data (2001–2026).
Examine how attrition risk changes over an employee's career.
Analyze factors associated with attrition at individual and institutional levels.
Conduct discrete-time survival analysis and logistic regression where appropriate.
Analyze relationships between monetary retention incentives and attrition.
Perform quasi-experimental analyses (e.g., staggered diff-in-diffs).
Prepare and translate findings into plain language for decision makers.
Write clean, reproducible R code and deliver shareable scripts.
