Job summary

GXO is seeking an experienced Lead AI Application Security Engineer to act as the technical lead for securing the Enterprise AI Platform and AI-powered applications.

You will define AI security architecture, testing methodologies, and secure development standards while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure secure design, deployment, and operation of AI solutions across GXO's global technology environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS, cybersecurity, IT, or engineering with related AI/security certs.
• 7+ years in application security, DevSecOps, cloud security, or security engineering with leadership responsibilities.
• Hands-on experience securing AI/ML platforms, LLM apps, or enterprise AI infra.
• Strong expertise in application security, secure CI/CD, Kubernetes, container security, API security, IaC, cloud security.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform security incl. Vertex AI, GKE, IAM, KMS, VPC Service Controls, Cloud Logging.

Responsibilities

• Lead security testing and AI red teaming for GXO's AI apps and Enterprise AI Platform.
• Design and implement AI-aware DevSecOps practices across CI/CD, cloud infra, deployments, and run-time environments.
• Develop secure AI development standards, threat models, and security architectures for AI/ML workloads.
• Evaluate and manage AI security tooling (AI firewalls, prompt-injection detection, runtime protections, model scanning).
• Partner with application, cloud, data, and security teams to integrate AI security into enterprise architecture and incident response.
