The role requires hands-on leadership in Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, and agentic AI, with a focus on measurable learner outcomes and business impact across Pearson products.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and deploying production AI/ML systems.
• Experience with cloud-native apps and MLOps.
• Proficiency in Python and API/CI-CD practices.
• Experience designing scalable AI platforms and deployment architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, deployment, and operation of production AI capabilities.
• Design Generative AI, LLM, RAG, and agentic AI solutions with measurable impact.
• Build reusable AI platform components, services, APIs, and workflows.
• Own end-to-end AI delivery lifecycle from prototyping to deployment and monitoring.
• Mentor engineers and data scientists across the organization.
• Communicate strategy, trade-offs, and risks to stakeholders.
