EPAM Systems is seeking an experienced Lead Python Engineer to join our Python AI Competence Center. You will drive innovation in Generative AI and deliver advanced AI-powered solutions across client projects and in-house product pipelines.

You can work remotely from anywhere in Georgia, with options to use our offices in Tbilisi and Batumi or coworking spaces in Kutaisi. This role emphasizes hands-on coding, architecture, and collaboration to push AI capabilities forward.

Qualifications

• Experience as a senior developer or architect with hands-on coding.
• Proficiency with Python frameworks (Django, Flask, FastAPI) and AI integration.
• Production experience with Generative AI, prompt engineering, and model fine tuning.
• Familiarity with Large Language Models and Retrieval Augmented Generation.
• Hands-on cloud implementation with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong problem solving and collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication to diverse audiences.
