Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior AI Architect to define end-to-end Agentic AI architectures leveraging LLMs, multi-agent systems, and orchestration layers. You will design autonomous AI agents and reference architectures for enterprise-grade, cloud-native AI applications.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in AI/ML and GenAI, including LLMs, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, multi-agent architectures.
• Strong programming skills in Python (primary) with hands-on experience across AI libraries.
• Experience architecting on cloud platforms (Azure preferred; Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Studio, Databricks) as well as AWS or GCP.
• Experience with modern data and platform ecosystems (Databricks, Snowflake, Synapse), REST APIs, microservices, and event streaming (Kafka, Event Hub).
• Strong DevOps and MLOps capabilities, including CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, monitoring, logging, and experiment tracking.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end Agentic AI architecture frameworks leveraging LLMs, multi-agent systems, and orchestration layers.
• Design autonomous AI agents capable of planning, reasoning, memory management, and tool usage.
• Establish reference architectures for enterprise-grade AI applications that are cloud-native, scalable, and secure.
• Integrate AI agents with enterprise systems, including data platforms, ERP, CRM, APIs, and event-driven systems.
