Job summary

Prime Therapeutics in the United States is seeking a Lead Actuary to support development of actuarial concepts and provide strategic consulting for clients. This remote role partners with the Senior Principal Actuary to manage innovative modeling concepts and pricing across lines of business.

You will lead complex projects, mentor the actuarial team, and ensure compliance with regulations while influencing pricing strategies and client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Math, Actuarial Science, Economics or Finance.
• 8 years of actuarial work experience, including 6 years in healthcare or PBM.
• Actuarial designation ASA or FSA.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with underwriters and senior management on pricing initiatives and data analyses.
• Lead, manage, and review data analyses, reporting, and projections.
• Conduct complex pharmacy data mining and analyses to address questions on actuarial data.
• Provide strategic pricing advice using market research and modeling.
• Present results to stakeholders and clients and answer detailed questions.
• Lead and mentor actuarial team members to enhance knowledge.
• Monitor health policy environment affecting pricing policies and programs.
• Ensure work complies with federal regulations and actuarial standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
