Responsibilities

• Processes accounting transactions for a wide variety of functions.
• Reviews accounting transactions for accuracy and completeness within established time frames.
• Codes and processes accounting transactions in accordance with agency instructions, policies and practices.
• Reconciles accounting transactions, determines account discrepancies and initiates adjustments.
• Performs adjustments to ensure balances are in agreement within the reconciliation period.
• Analyzes accounting data and monitors fund balances to ensure compliance with public law.
• Prepares worksheets/reports reflecting discrepancies and takes corrective action.
• Prepares reports and correspondence relating to accounting issues and enters data into the automated system accurately.
