Job summary

Aurora Wellness is seeking a New York Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a 100% remote, flexible part-time outpatient therapist role. Compensation is $70 per completed therapy session/hour with Aurora-supported referrals and administrative infrastructure. Emphasis on individual outpatient psychotherapy and integrated care.

You can choose your schedule and build a recurring caseload, while receiving comprehensive support and malpractice coverage.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Active, unrestricted New York LCSW license.
• Current registration and ability to practice psychotherapy in New York.
• Experience providing individual psychotherapy.
• Private, professional workspace suitable for telehealth.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual psychotherapy to adults via secure telehealth.
• Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Establish and maintain longitudinal therapeutic relationships.
• Utilize evidence-based, patient-centered psychotherapy approaches.
• Monitor symptoms and clinical outcomes; update treatment plans as needed.
• Provide psychoeducation and therapeutic interventions.
• Identify changes in clinical acuity and coordinate higher levels of care.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and other providers.
• Coordinate care with outside providers when appropriate.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation within the EHR.
• Maintain compliance with ethical, clinical, payer, HIPAA, and standards.
