Job summary

Imagine Learning seeks part-time remote instructors to guide students in Latin through online courses. Responsibilities include daily inbox checks, grading, and communicating with families. Hours are flexible within 7:00 am–7:00 pm in the resident time zone, with seasonal variations based on enrollments.

Candidates should have a teaching license or tutoring experience, strong communication, and the ability to work autonomously in a remote setting. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Fluency in written and spoken Latin.
• Valid teaching license in at least one state, or tutoring experience preferred.
• Experience facilitating online courses recommended.
• Experience with elementary and secondary at‑risk students and students with special needs preferred.
• Strong communication, time management and collaborative skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours remotely.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic guidance for students enrolled in online courses.
• Grade assignments and enter grades in the online grade book promptly.
• Respond to student emails and calls within 1 school day; monitor course activity daily.
• Orient students to coursework and enforce academic integrity guidelines.
• Conduct 1‑to‑1 tutoring sessions via web conferencing and virtual whiteboard tools.
• Support Edgenuity intervention and escalation procedures to ensure attendance and mastery.
