Job summary

Glacier, a San Francisco-based startup, is seeking a software engineer to join our LATAM Fleet SWE team, working remotely from South America. You will keep robots and edge devices operating, investigate root causes, and build tooling for the field service team.

You will collaborate with US robotics and operations teams, respond to alerts, monitor device performance, and support fleet deployments. 3+ years in hardware/robotics and Python/Linux are required. English fluency is essential.

Qualifications

3+ years of work experience on hardware or robotics projects or products.
3+ years of work experience with Python, Ubuntu/Linux, Git.
2+ years working through the command line for both local and remote systems.
English Fluency as you will be working with a US based team (B2 or higher)

Responsibilities

Respond to alerts generated by our system and issues raised by customers. You will be the primary software responder to issues and recommending solutions to the field service team.
Monitor and tune the performance of deployed devices to maximize the robots impact.
Support the deployment of new devices to our ever growing fleet.
Build tooling to enable the field service team to handle more issues and respond quicker to problems.
