Job summary

AEC Resources, Minnesota-based engineering consultancy, is seeking a Land Development Civil Engineer to transform raw land into vibrant places where people live, work, and connect. You will lead site layouts, grading, utilities, and stormwater design, collaborating with architects, planners, and local reviewers from concept through construction.

You will work across diverse project types with remote/hybrid options for Minnesota residents, contributing to proposals, cost estimates, and project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of experience in site or land development engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain one.
• Familiarity with local land development codes and municipal review processes.

Responsibilities

• Design civil site layouts, grading, utilities, and stormwater systems.
• Prepare and review site grading, drainage, and utility plans.
• Coordinate with project architects, planners, surveyors, and municipal agencies.
• Manage permitting processes and respond to local review comments.
• Oversee technical staff and ensure deliverable quality.
