Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Data Architect to design enterprise-scale data platforms using Databricks and lakehouse architecture. You will align business objectives with technical infrastructure, ensuring scalability and robust data modeling across AWS environments.

Join a fully remote, globally distributed team and influence data governance, pipelines, and platform optimization while collaborating with stakeholders to define reference architectures and best practices. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Data Architecture or Data Engineering.
• Experience designing enterprise data platforms using Databricks and lakehouse architecture.
• Proficiency in Python and PySpark for large-scale data processing and transformation.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS data services.
• Strong background in defining data governance frameworks and domain-aligned data models.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee enterprise data models for lakehouse architectures using Databricks and PySpark.
• Establish data governance frameworks and standards to ensure data quality, consistency, and regulatory compliance.
