Livefront is seeking a Databricks Data Engineer to join our growing data practice. Design and build production data pipelines, architect Lakehouse solutions on Databricks, and own data quality and CI/CD across AWS and Azure.

This senior position offers remote work with Peru-based clients and opportunities to shape our analytics platforms. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of data engineering experience, deep Databricks expertise, SQL and Python proficiency, and a track record translating business

Formación

• 3–5 years of data engineering experience in production environments.
• 2+ years in production Databricks contexts, consulting or client delivery a plus.
• Strong AWS and Azure cloud skills relevant to Databricks deployments.
• Proficient in SQL and Python with clean, maintainable code.
• Experience designing Lakehouse architectures and delta lake patterns.
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.
• Familiarity with CI/CD for data pipelines and testing.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build end-to-end data pipelines with ingestion, transformation, and data quality checks.
• Architect Lakehouse solutions on Databricks for analytics and AI needs.
• Maintain transformation layers (DLT, PySpark notebooks, dbt) with SLAs.
• Develop data foundations (Unity Catalog, Feature Store, MLflow) powering ML apps.
• Collaborate with product and backend teams to model data and APIs.
• Consult with clients to define data strategies and sustainable solutions.
• Lead data architecture discussions or support internal data teams as needed.
• Operate in multi-cloud AWS and Azure environments with Databricks alignment.
