Job summary

Capgemini seeks an experienced Kubernetes/HPC Engineer to design, deploy, and support scalable compute platforms for AI/ML and high-performance workloads. You will work across cloud and on-prem environments, building reliable, secure infrastructure for AI research and data-intensive applications.

The role emphasizes Kubernetes, GPU deployments, and IaC with strong Linux scripting skills. Remote USA-based work and competitive compensation are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Kubernetes, Platform Engineering, Cloud Infra, DevOps, or related disciplines.
• 2+ years supporting HPC, distributed computing, or large-scale compute clusters.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and container orchestration technologies.
• Experience with Slurm/Volcano or similar schedulers.
• Experience with NVIDIA GPU infra and GPU-accelerated workloads.
• Strong Linux admin, scripting (Python, Bash).
• Experience with CI/CD, monitoring, observability, and IaC.
• Experience with AKS, GKE or similar cloud-native services.
• Understanding of distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, scalability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes-based platforms for AI/ML, HPC, and distributed workloads.
• Build, administer, and optimize HPC environments with Slurm/Volcano.
• Deploy and support NVIDIA GPU infrastructure for ML and accelerated computing.
• Implement automation, CI/CD, and IaC to improve scalability and efficiency.
• Manage containerized apps using Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and cloud-native tech.
• Troubleshoot and optimize cluster, network, storage, and performance across environments.
